Ed Tonnelier is one of the very first members of this site, as well as a long time poker master from Windsor.
He's always exceled at all the games, not just hold'em.
He's 5 handed for a bracelet now against some of the biggest names in poker.
Rumour has it he made it to heads up. Let us know how he did. Remember last year when he was selling shares and everyone was making fun of him, guess it would have been worth it this year.
Tonnellier made an impressive run of his own, starting the day last in chips with just $69,000. He was all in against Anne Duke three handed, doubled up and carried the momentum to one more spot higher on the pay scale. His second finish was good for
$118,456.
not to mention the 118 grand LOL! wow thats pretty nice
I was today browsing the CardPlayer website to catch-up on the happenings at the 2007 WSOP and was pleased to read about Ed's 2nd place in the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Eight-or-Better Event.
I met Ed at the 2005 WSOP and very much enjoyed playing the mixed cash games with him (plus the odd beer or two).
I live in England and joined this site in the simple hope that someone who knows him and reads this forum will pass on my congratulations and regards to Ed.

Of note:
Hailing from Windsor, California, Tonnellier is a limit hold’em and Omaha specialist.
What a nice run he hit to get back from his last 1k chip.
