2nd hand AKo Ring Game
Ok here's the situation.
$3/6 Limit game
This is the 2nd hand that I played at the table. Stats on the table indicate that it's loose. Other than that no reads on any of the players at this point.
I am dealt :as :kh in LP.
By the time it gets to me it's already 3 bets to call.
What to do..I feel that I am either going to cap it or fold.
Reasons to fold:
With 3 bets to me, I am definitely behind. Just don't know how bad.
No read on the other players.
I have nothing invested in the pot.
Reasons to cap:
I have a big hand and am only in real trouble against Kings or Aces.
Anyother hand and I am getting pot odds.

Online limit has turned into nothing more than an aggression contest IMO, where every kid who sits down figures they can win by being the most aggressive guy at the table. Pick these guys off. I'd be shocked if you folded this hand.
Where are you? 2nd hand, shouldn't you be in the small blind? How are you in LP? Is this full ring or short handed? How many players are in the pot?
If I remeber correctly 3 players already in Raise/Call/Reraise/Fold..then me
Maybe it's just me, but only the last reason (and a dubious one at that) is a reason to fold.
This is usually a cap even against TA players, let alone with multiple loose opponents involved. Push your equity edge now. AKo is NOT "generally" behind here in terms of equity. Very easy cap.
You are in the Hi-Jack position.
Feel free to fling poo at this point
Cap cap and cap.
Important
Umm why did you just copy moose's post that I had already replied to.
I'll take 1 to go...Thx
btw OP are we 6 handed or what?
plus not knowing anything about the players and their range.
I think I would play if it was AK suited and if it was NLHE.
I don't fair too well in LHE.
so when do we get to see the results
Spiked my Ace on the flop. [4d Ah 2c]
Checked to me, I bet and get CR by EP.
MP calls the 2 bet and I smooth call.
Didn't like the CR, but I am 80% sure that I am ahead now. Most likely against a weaker Ace and PP. Didn't really worry about 2's or 4's.
Turn is [3s]
Again checked to me and I bet and get 2 callers.
River is [7c]
Checked to me.
I check (the board is just too ugly for my liking)
I win about $80 against Ad 6d and Qs Qd.
WOW
A6 sooted eh?
lucky for you it wasn't A5 sooooooooooted Well Done Sir!!!
??? Please explain to me WHY you would possibly think this? Surely you weren't expecting any of them to fold...
At that point, I had been thinking that I am up against a big pair and possibly the other 2 had some of my outs.
Probably just over-thinking a bit.
I give too much credit sometimes, and when we get
to the showdown, I'm like 'unbelievable'
