Degree Rama Tournament Details Now Available

Rama has updated their site with details of the Rama Degree tournament. Blinds and starting chips have yet to be determined. Hopefully they will be increased from the 2,500 standard. Anybody planning on playing in this tournament?

WIN 1 of 5 Casino Rama designated seats in the 2007 Degree Poker Championship!

The top 5 finishers in the June 11, 2007 Casino Rama Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament will qualify* for a seat in the Degree Poker Championship being held at Casino Rama from June 25-29, 2007.

Tickets go on-sale Wednesday, May 30 at noon in-person at the Casino Rama Box Office.

Entry fee: $360 + $40 administration fee.
LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

    the rules noted apply to the 54 seats in the contest, not the remaining seats(including the Rama entries). This wording has been added to the tournment rules on the Degree website:

    There is no purchase or gaming activity necessary to enter into or participate in the Tournament, with the exception of the (5) Casino Rama tournament won seats.

    The starting chips have been increased to 4,000 from the usual 2,500 for this tournament. Also, there will be 132 players instead of the usual 100. A little more bang for the buck.

    Anybody know the Blind structure and payout percentages for the Degree qualifier June 11th,2007

    the blind structure is the same as the regular Monday tournaments; there is post with these details. Total payout is $360 x 132. btw, the tournament is sold out.
