question about truepoker

i signed up for the site yesterday...... so far so good, i like the 3d software, the way u hold ur cards, the voices and all that stuff. also like since they can debt my Canadian account right away ( i think its a canadian site ) BUT i am worried that there wasnt that many people on there. i saw maybe 10-12 NL tables open, and they where not all full..... just wondering if u guys have played on this site before? heard anything about them? how long have they been around... that kinda thing

I played on True quite a while ago, like maybe 2 years, but I'm not sure exactly. At that time I was playing relatively low-limit stuff, and I actually did well there, but moved on. Why? I'm not sure. I think I was starting to become interested in PokerRoom and Stars, and eventually put my online bankroll into those sites.

When I was there, True had a very solid player base. (By solid, I mean there were a lot of them, not that they were necessarily good players.) There were a lot of games going. I've heard from others--and now from you--that this isn't the case anymore. The main reason for this (I suspect) is because the action is too slow. Having the 'characters' tap the table to check, etc... takes time, and for most online poker players, the more hands/hr they play, the better.

Some players like the slower action, and the voices, and the 1st-person POV, etc... because it more closely resembles what you'd find in a casino. However, I think these players are becoming fewer and farther between.

Interesting. These things (but more importantly lack of game selection) are the reason I eventually stopped playing there.

Never had any problems in terms of cashouts, etc. myself.

TruePoker is where I cut my teeth.Best software without any doubt.No question.
I never had a single problem with TruePoker for almost anything .Cash comes fast:no problem that way.The consensus will agree though that play is a little slow,but they have remedied that error somewhat and for a cyber experience that replicates real play that site has no betters.

Has anyone used the USEMYBANK payment method?

It looks quite simillar to Neteller, but they mention nothing about holding your funds for several days.

Id like to try it, but Ill wait for a few responses first.

ya i used "usemybank" so far so good, took it right off my CC but u can take it off ur account also... but i have a CC made for my bank roll

was easy to do, only thing is they cant d/p into the account which is kinda stupid.... u can take it, but cant put it back??
