I am Going to Vegas

Man I am so stoked, I just finalized my reservations today.

I fly out Friday June 29 at 8:30am and arrive in Vegas at 10:45 vegas time.

I plan to play in Binions Poker Classic on June 29 in the 2pm $150 No Limit Hold'em Event.

Then I am going to play in the WSOP No Limit Hold'em $1500 Event #49.

Hopefully I do well.

Anyone have any advice on playing in the WSOP as this will be the biggest tourny I have ever played in.

    The tournament area for the WSOP is a huge room and has no poker atmosphere. I found myself rubbernecking right and left during the tournament I played in and didn't concentrate enough on the game.

    My advise is do your best to shut everything out other than what is happening at your table.

    Since I am arriving June 29, The wife will be arriving July 2, I let her choose where to stay.

    So for Friday June 29 to July 5 (7 nights) it is $547 at Excalibur

    i'm in vegas from june 26th - july 6th, there's a post on 2+2 with a bunch of tourneys running at that time, other than the WSOP. I'm going to be playing the ones at the venetian and binions, here's the link.

    crazykoby and I are now sharing a room at the rio until my wife arrives then I am off to the Excalibur.

    special K - I will be playing in the Binions $150 no limit on the 29th at 2pm, then the WSOP Event #49 starting on the 30th

    Good luck man, thats what im doing as soon as im 21, i want to stay at the golden nugget, and play some sattelites and move into a main event.
