Who's playing what online?

I've been playing on AblsoutePoker.com; it' been ok, I like the graphics, the listing of tourneys (plenty of freerolls) but I've never really advanced or qualified for anything nor won much.
Also did partypoker.com; boring graphics, not many freerolls, nor have I won anything significant.
Just downloaded pokerstars.com, haven't totally explored it but not to impressed.
So, what is the best sites do play, as a Canadian, to win a lil something and ideally qualify for a casino satelite game (ideally on Casinao Niagara or Brantford)?
Oh..btw...I just joined here at pokerforum.ca; hi!

  • Real friendly bunch here eh? Some views, no responses...not even a welcome to the forum :(
  • I've been playing on Fulltilt, mostly Limit Hold'em or Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, sometimes I'll play the odd HORSE game too.

    1. Thanks too a hellva lot of spammers all newbies are now scrutiny for a few posts. Nobody likes entering a thread only to be spammed a day later.

    2. This subject has been discussed at length, so I guess nobody (except Chris) was interested in responding.

ANYWAY, Pokerstars is were you want to play. Nobody else has that much variety and different levels of Buy-ins. I also donk it up at Supreme, Titan, and Paradise. But don't go to Paradise, it's dying a slow death.

    Welcome to the forum!

  • Welcome, I see you are from Burlington, have you ever played tournaments in Burlington at Formac Billiards or perhaps Mountain Bowl in Hamilton?
  • .not even a welcome to the forum

Forum's going through a wierd time with newcomers and spam and stuff.. just keep postin' along and you'll be hatin' on BBC Z in no time..
  • Well i play at Everest poker. Its not the best but they have 10cent limit sitngo. It provided me some entertainment as im not sure about depositing my own money. Been playing there since Oct 06 and have made 400 dollars. Not gonna replace my job but its a start.
  • Bass,

  • Oh.. I see Johnnie, I'm glad you explained that, now I'm feelin some good ole Canadian warmth...lol. I did search back many pages of threads looking for similiar post as mine, didn't find one, so I posted. Thanks for welcoming me, nice to meet ya. I played a Canadian freeroll on pokerstars last night, didn't do to well, but it was all in the cards...lol. I can't figure out how to make a deposit there or put my pic on avatar?
Compuease.... I used to play the tournaments at Jimmy Heros, but that has slid downhill, I think I may try out Formac Billiards if it's still on.
Thanks guys for your responses, think I'll play pokerstars for awhile now and see how it goes there.
  • well..pokerstars.net is boring...can only do one canadian tourney a day :(
Actually, I can't even play anymore of them, nor can I make a deposit.
  • If you want to play in a casino satellite, you may as well go to Brantford Charity Casino for their satellites to the big tournaments next month.

About Party Poker, does anybody know of a better offer for new members than Partyforfree.net's free $50+$25 deposit? I have qualified for a live championship tournament for a WPT $10K seat at Niagara Falls, but I am required to register with PartyPoker.com.

    Online qualifiers? Any links?

As a side note, I've gone through pokerstars.net; fulltiltpoker.com, junglepoker.com & partypoker.net/canada; in conclusion, I'm going back to absolutepoker.com because I seem to like it the best.
  • Hey Compuease...what happens at Mountain bowl...I"m in the hammer but didn't know they had anything there.

I play on two sites right now, Dreampoker and Pokerstars. I like stars better for it's options, but both sites I find good.
