Lucky You... Thumbs Up or Down?
How's everyone feel about this movie?
It took forever for it to come out... I'm not sure if you followed the 'Lucky You' will it hit theatres won't it drama as closely as I did; but it had 3 or 4 release dates scheduled before it finally hit the box office yesterday.
Though not exactly sure what the people in charge were thinking... because if I had any movie to put my new film up against at the box office... Spider-man 3 would not be the one I'd finally decide on.
Anyway.. to the poll. I saw the movie tonight, and LOVED IT! It's no rounders.. but the great part was.. it didn't try to be. I'm not going to write too much about the movie in the first post; I want to give everybody who wants to see it, a chance to, before I spill the beans too much.
I'm giving this movie a thumbs up, for great story, tons of poker, fairly decent acting, and did I mention tons of poker? There was even enough of a romance story to keep my girlfriend satisfied, and that's always a plus!
SO, what'd everyone else think?

I think that pretty much sums it up.
On the poker front, I think my friend and I felt that some hands were a bit predictable, but there was surely no lack of poker.
Not going to say anymore so I won't spoil it for people.
Yes important question, because if there are, I'm not going.
Nope.. no drewbewbs.. sorry to dissappoint. No bewbs at all in it... while I guess there is one set.. but they arent the kind you'd like... and you don't really see them.... if you've seen the movie, you'll know which bewbs I'm talking about.
Drew Berrymore isn't rail thin and doesn't conform to hollywood's under-fed, over-sexed standards... who the hell wants a woman that is status quo?
Haha.. and I don't even like Drew Berrymore... mmmmm... sarcasm

I'll wait till this comes out on video. I did see 'fracture' recently and enjoyed it.
