Heads Up

I'm attempting to set up a heads up game with a buddy of mine but I'm not sure what structure would be appropriate to maximize skilll. I was thinking that a best out of three format with 100-150 times the blind with it being raised every 30 minutes. I'm going to assume that a series of this size would could potentially go on for 6+ hours easily. Any thoughts?

Of that size, each match could go on 6+ hours (unless you're both uber-aggressive).

I'd suggest best of 3, 60BB each, raise every 30mins.

Depending on who I'm playing, there is often no need to raise the blinds in a headsup match. If you both start with say 40BB and neither of you are super tight, the match should only last an hour max.

I've played HU with several people of late, and never had to raise the blinds past 25/50 with 2000 starting stack
