Where to Begin???...

Hey, after seeing a lot of my friends and coworkers play Texas Hold'Em poker, I have become interested in the game. I know the rules, but I would like to learn the strategy behind the game. How would you recommend I proceed with such a task? Furthermore, where is a good place for one to begin playing?

  • Take it easy first , play some playmoney , and then try the really low stakes tables and the freerolls. :)
  • try one of the free bar tournaments throughout Ontario. Red Hot Poker Tour, Pirana Poker tour, etc. are a great place to start and there is no cost to play. Much more fun than playing online.
