Buy-In: $40+$1
$40 goes to the prize pool
$1 goes to the card/chip/table fund

Tournament Rules
0. Eight players per table
1. Each table shall appoint a dedicated dealer to speed play
2. Clock will be stopped while settling disputes, balancing tables, etc.
3. Balancing tables will be done by moving UTG players.
4. When a table is closed, seats will be redrawn.
5. No string bets… verbal declarations are binding.
6. Single chips of a larger denomination are 'calls' unless stated before.
7. A new deal starts with the first riffle of cards.
8. "Dead Puck" rule in effect for blinds.
9. Players absent will have blind posted while away.

I really love this rule:
1. Each table shall appoint a dedicated dealer to speed play
(I assume that by "dedicated dealer" you mean a *player* who deals the cards.)
But would you consider having *two* dedicated dealers per table? I am simply thinking about fatigue here, and it would probably be most smooth to just keep it 30 mins on 30 mins off, the dealer changes co-inciding with the blind changes.

Yeah, I think this is a great idea. I just thought it might be tough for the exact same player to be doing this for a long stretch of time.

I have openings...
I currently have about 7 regulars confirmed. These are people from Cornwall that have played at my place before...
Email me or PM me or call me... whatever.... to reserve a spot...bring a friend or 2... I'd like to get around 20 players.
In a pinch I can build a table in about an hour... so I won't turn anyone away!! (I currently have 2... It can be done!... It might not be pretty, but it can be done!)

Was just playing PLO with SLOTH at PokerStars and mentioned the cold canadian weather. And he mentions this site.
He asks about the poker scene in cornwall... and I tell him it's dead.
I guess I wasn't looking in the right place.
I would be interested in playing the tourney. You can PM me and I'll give you my phone number if all is cool.
If it is needed I have a poker tabletop that could potentially be lent out.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves.
