How often do you play?

As a newly addicted poker player I want to know how much is too much. How often do you play and for how long, in general? Do you play multiple tables, if so what is the maximum you have played?

Any pros out there who play all day long?

    I play 1-2 times a week in Brantford. Each sesion is 4-8 hrs in length. I love playing online as well however my kids come 1st so I rarely play anymore other than at the BCC.

    If you turn into the guy in the commercials, that's too much ;) . Basically, if you're playing as a hobby, as long as it doesn't interfere too much with work/sleep/family, it should be ok. I don't think there is an arbitrary number of hours, it's all dependent on your lifestyle, responsibilities, and attitude. But if you find yourself asking "is this too much", you're probably close to that point...

    Personally, for a long period (months) I would play daily after work for 2-8 hours, 4-8 tabling.

    errr......errrr
    well.....i play online, almost everyday.....
    but i don't turn down gathering, because i have poker......
    i just happen to have nothing to do,.... on...every weeknight.
    sat/sun i play poker in the day......then went out with friends at night..
    is that too much???

    I play during my lunch hour when I don't have meetings.

    I also play for 1-2 hours on weeknights after the wife goes to bed (usually around 9:00 since she's so tired because someone knocked her up) and on weekends if nothing else is going on.

    I've been playing at this pace for about 2 years now and it seems comfortable. I'm not getting bored of the game because
    a) I'm trying new games (HORSE and PLO currently)
    b) I'm profiting
    c) I'm moving up playing more difficult opponents
