Best way to enter big tournaments?

I've been playing online for a few months now but haven't attempted any big tournaments. I play on either PartyPoker or Stars. And by big tournment i mean 150$ buy in and up.

I was wondering what the best or favourite way to get into these larger tournaments is? Are multi-table satellites the way to go? Or single table satellites? What would the expert tournament players out there recommend?

P.S. I don't think buying in directly is viable, 2 buyins and i'm bankrupt.

I would go with the MTT Rebuy Satelites. SNGs usually have winner take all, but with MTT Rebuys, you will have loose action in some and can make it, since a lot of people will do rebuys etc. $3 Rebuy to the $215 (200K) is pretty reasonable. But I would also recommend playing other buyins such as $10+1 (20K guaranteed) etc tournament.
