Oh where oh where to donk away our hard earned $$$?

The girlfriend and I are looking for ideas on where to play poker for a couple days this week. We want to leave early Wednesday and return late Friday. Anything within 5 hours of driving is an option. I have searched the site and found some good info on some rooms but would still appreciate any recommendations.

We like Turning Stone but have been a few times. We are leaning towards the Niagara Falls area. It seems the wait times are bad at Fallsview? Does Seneca really do free drinks a la Vegas? What about Casino Niagara? We would also look at Rama or even Brantford or GBH or...?

We play low limit 2/4, 4/8, 5/10 and occasional sit'n'gos with max $50 buy-in.

Any thoughts/recommendations/opinions, sarcastic or otherwise, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Seneca. Free booze. Good room. Good dealers. Good food. Tons of free parking. You will find 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 and up. If they are not spreading it, ask them and they will start a list.

Niagara. Overpriced booze. Bad room. Inattentive waitresses and crappy dealers. Bad food. 2/4 limit only. Ask for them to run an interest list for anything else and they will laugh in your face.
  • Going to have to agree about Fallsvue/Niagara Casino - although their rooms are ok (overpriced but ok).

    Another thumbs up for Seneca.
