  • Made my picks, Memphis all the way baby!

    stp
  • Memphis? Why?
  • I'm in, will make my picks probably tomorrow. I'll have to make arrangements with you Moose to get the money your way. I cannot do Bristol tomorrow. I'm sure I can get $10 credit till I collect my winnings :)
  • Why Memphis? Well because my initials are SM which are the first and last letters in Memphis, so they'll either be first or last. They're 10-0 in their past 10 and well, I like the song "walking in Memphis" by Marc Cohn. I suppose that's good enough reason as anyone can come up with.

    Who's your #1?

    stp
  • Well using your logical thinking, I'm gonna have to go with Georgetown. They've won 15 of their last 16 and also took home the Big East title. My initials are DC, and where's Georgetown located? In Washington, D.C. Yea that's right. Oh, and I like the books about Curious George too.

    Dom
  • You guys kill me.

Oregon has the Ducks. Any NCAA team use Moose?

    Btw, are Moose hostile?

  • OK I'm in. Can I just transfer the money on Stars or something?
  • Memphis? Why?

Oh, another reason. Chuck Swirsky's blog from Raptors.com

"Memphis is riding a 22-game winning streak going in to the NCAA tournament. If John Calipari is smart he will stay in Memphis and just win, win and win. He can get players in school, win 20 games a year and make a ton of money. Will an NBA team come calling? Remember he did a decent job with the Nets so we'll see what happens."

    No stars.

    Lets say $8.70 US on:
    Absolute
    Party
    GPP - the new site
    Doyle's
    Titan
    PokerRoom
    Hollywood
    Paradise

Pick a site and pm me. Not sure which ones allow player to player transfer.
  • Paradise does. And if watts wants to send me money on stars I'll transfer via paradise. I'll need your nick on paradise moose. Watt's I'm Acidjoe (Bradford) on stars.

I thought you were tight with money. You should be getting at least $8.53 US.

My bad. I was changing $10 cdn into $US. It will be $8.70 US. Watts, you get a discount, 'cause I said so.

'Course maybe I should be asking @ Neteller rates.

Please transfer $11.26 US = $10 Cdn via Neteller. Thank you.

  • I will hit you up tonight Moose.
  • It looks like we have 14 degenie's gambling it up. I'm assuming Rob will update with who has all paid etc. Good Luck everyone tip off for the first games is happening later today.
  • So far it looks like 13 people got their picks in time. No-one emailed me their picks so that is probably it. Now I have to figure out if all those 13 have paid me. Once I know the numbers I will post the breakdown, probably paying 1,2 only.

Can't wait to watch the games tonight in HD!!! :)
  • never mind HD I got it runniing on my computer now
  • You got my PM re: Brent, right moose?

    /g2
  • What pm?

Never mind. Weird - no pm popup anymore.

I think he got his picks in. (Brent Wilson)

BTW best use of an Excel spreadsheet EVER!
  • Man..my bracket is off to a bad start...

Ok, so now it's $20 for the tourney, $5 for the bounty, I"m adding $5 MORE on Mario this time, I owe Moose $10 for the NCAA pool (Gonzaga!), and I'm paying for Wraych.

    Wooo...gettin' pricey!

    I'm such a donk.

    Johnnie

A few guys signed up but didn't get their picks in time so I am overriding Arthur Wong's, where Gonzaga is picked to win every game, and all upsets for the others. If you finish last I will give you your $10 back.

Wow, yeah, I just checked it out now. That is one good lookin' spreadsheet ;)

    /g2
  • No upsets yet and just for fun I am overriding Alan Pengelly's to be all favourites.

So to be clear - these guys did not put their picks in.

Arthur Wong = JohnnieH = Gonzaga + all upsets
    Allen Pengelly = All Favourites
  • AcidJoe, Wes and SirWatts - you donks - I need you to post your tiebreaker score.
  • 72-66
