actually Johnnie, I don't like getting involved with small pairs, so often you lose to higher FH's. I wouldn't have called the initial pot. However, if you could have found that 5th 8..........

Would it change anyone's opinion if the villain in this hand was a maniac? I don't think he folded a single hand preflop, raised every hand preflop pot, and caught cards like the luckiest sob...

You mean Max plays PLO? Seriously I don't call the huge raise with 2 pairs. small raise or a limp is good. As Jeff says you end up losing a big pot with small pairs.

calling a huge raise with crap cards was the second.

Not a big fan of the call preflop. Other than that...try winning flips..
