  • Hi Lee,

Can you give details re: GBH June 13th $500 tourney?

    Thanks.
  • with all due respect..i cant get interested in going to the GBH, until they schedule a tournament now and again without rebuys..i know the obvious reason for rebuys and add ons, but in my opinion it is just "lottery poker"...a bunch of all ins within the first hour
  • Guess you had a bad experience at GBH? Have you tried Windsor's $500 monthly freezeouts?

  • I think the rebuys are good, although it turns into more of a bingo after the first hour actually. If there's anyway to slow down the blind structure just a bit after the first hour that would be a lot better.

Btw, I just signed up, I think there are 7 spots left now.
  • Hey Tilt,
Issue is $5000; 2 $250 rebuys in the 1st hour and a $500 addon after the 1st hour. The blind structure for June and December is much less aggressive than the regular monthly events. Check out the GBH web site for more details

    Hey Martin,

If you prefer freeze-out events maybe we'll see you in December for the $2000 buyin freezeout Tournament of Champions.

    Cheers,

    Lee

Issue is $500 maybe? Thanks for the info Lee.
  • The GBH website only seems to list the blind structure for December. Can you please post or provide the links for the blinds for the regular and June tournaments? Thanks.

    Lee
  • Hey Fish,

I'll arrange for the blinds to be posted on the web site, I'll send to the webmaster today and please give him a day or two to have it on the site.

    cheers,

    Lee
  • Wonder if it got snowed out? :) Anybody go down?

  • First one I have missed in almost a year. didn't play on purpose... Valentines Day.
  • Hey Rob,

We missed you last Wednesday, full field as usual in spite of the weather. First prize took $25K.
  • Hey Lee,

is GBH accepting phone registration for the June 13th tourney or do you have to wait till June to buy a seat?
  • Hey Tilt,

You can call our Player's Club (1.888.294.3766 ext.327 toll-free) and book for any event scheduled for 2007 using a Visa or MasterCard. If you're playing at the GBH, be sure to say hi.

    Cheers,

    Lee
  • Lee, has the webmaster posted the blinds on the website yet? I do not see it anywhere. Please provide the link, or post them here.

  • Hey Rob,

Just fixed it ... PM away

    Hey Tilt,

The June event is capped at 110 and DEcember is capped at 220.

  • 2 more question Lee, can you use ur 2 rebuys before the first hand is dealt? how do u keep track when a players uses their 2 rebuys to avoid more of their fair share?
  • Hey Tilt,

Sorry for the delay replying, I was away for a week. Players can only rebuy if they have the opening issue or less in front of them, therefore only one rebuy before the first hand is dealt. Each player receives a seat allocation voucher when they register and the voucher is marked with a stamp to indicate 1st or 2nd rebuy.

    cheers,

    Lee
