Duplicate Poker

Has anyone ever heard of this Dupicate Poker yet? The site e-pokerUSA has this game duplicate Poker, itz super new, what it is is they take NL hold'em and there's specific positions on the table same as normal BUT the catch is there is multiple tables and each table has a deck shuffled exactly the same as each table , so the same board/hands go to all the tables and players win/lose chips by playing the hand the most profitably then the rest of the other players.
You get 2 types of chips Victory Chips and Hand Chips, u use the hand chips to play pots and each player gets the same amount of chips at the start of each pot, and how profitably or unprofitably u play the hand u make or lose vicotry chips. (weird formula to dictate it) There's only a certain amount of hands (5 hands per blind lvl 5 blind levels) so u could get dealt AQ at a 6 player table get involved in a 2 way all in and win, but lose victory chips cuz sum coaxed a 3 way all in, thats how I lost one tourney, I was in the money and dropped to 10th. I entered a freeroll satellite to a tourney on Sunday for a $350 prize pool and won, so wish me luck, lol

  • Do we have a translator in the house??
  • It's a tournament where every table is delt the same deck. IE, Seat one on every table got 45s, seat two got 55 etc. The key to winning duplicate <bridge> tournaments is to play better than your opponents on the other tables who are in the exact same situation.

Problem with this format is that it sounds like collusion paradise. Interesting concept though.
  • So if I outplay Seat 1 on the other table from my seat 1, I win?
  • The neat thing about it is after 5 hands are dealt the blinds increase and the tables get switched around, so really in a 30 player tourney u have a VERY slim chance of being in the same position as ur buddy, so collusion is tricky. Hobbes yes ur right, it's whoever has the most chips per pot wins overall chips. So if A has 1600 B has 3000 and C has 800 in the end A would make a shitload of victory chips, B would make a very minimum amount and C would lose victory chips, and it isn't til' someone has it all, its like Elimination Blackjack where after _hands whoever has the most Victory chips wins.
