I don't mean to sound like a copycat by posting this (since the Ivey vs. Negreanu post), but this is a decent comparisoin right here since they both have a similar talkative persona.
IMO Tony G. is the man, he's just so boisterous at the table, and has some classic lines, yet he can still play amazing Poker despite his mouth.

    I disagree; I think Mike the Mouth is by far the better player. Mike could be the best poker player in the world (and when he is playing his A game he is one of the best) if he could stop himself from self destructing.

    Mike has two WSOP bracelets and won the WSOP Tournament of Champions in 2005 as well.

    Watch him in High Stakes season 3 or last week's poker after dark to see Mike play. (Although he totally sucked when playing heads up against Ivey.)

    lol, he was awful against Ivey. Talk about going on tilt. He is very readable when he starts losing. Looks like a total amateur.

    ...but Tony has a much bigger heart. Matasow is vunerable when he's on tilt.

    matusow is WAYYYY better IMHO... of course when he isn't self destructing, which seems to happen with him a lot.

    Well I don't think it happens a lot, just that when it does and camera around it gets replayed a lot.
