Making the Canary Sing
In live games I feel in my game I've lot of money is lost through communication with people in the "think tank", whether it be because I'm ahead and I'm hoping to entice a call, or I'm in the tank myself and I call a big pot based on a small tell I misinterpret. I understand physical tells pretty well, and I do use betting patterns into the formula which is a major part, but sometimes you get into predicaments where information can only go so far, so I'm wondering what kind of words are good and what kind of words are bad to listen for in different scenarios and how could I go about "making the canary sing"?

Instead of asking, "How deep are you?" I like to ask, "How much will I win if I bust you?"
Human beings are creatures of habit. We follow scripts, if you will. And, if you break the script you will often see a non-rehearsed response. So, in my example, you are really asking the same question but by giving it an aggresive spin you make find some new information.
