I think we have all mucked the winning hand at least once. In Woods case he just happened to do it on TV.

I did it at Blue Heron, I mucked the nut straight because when my opp turned his cards over I saw 2 diamonds for a flush, so I threw my cards in the muck, when in reality it was a diamond and a heart for a busted flush draw. It was a huge pot too, I was so pissed I stopped playing for 2 months.

Can't say I've ever mucked a winner, can't see how you could, you've got something and you fold when no-one bets on any round, why would you muck?
