Casino Sault Ste Marie

If anyone on their travels has to go to the Soo, you've got to stop by the casino and play some poker. Closest think to sure money as you can get.

I went up to see the family and decided to play some cards. They only have 4 tables and spread 2/5 and 5/10. Sit down at the 2/5 table that was just starting up. Ten players buy in with 7 of buying in for $50 or less (I think I was drooling a bit :D ). I bought in for $150 and we were off to the races.

Generally there were 6-7 players on the flop with 4 seeing the turn. On the turn most players quickly folded. Managed to get one guy heads up on the river with my Aces full of Kings (I had AK) and it took him a while to realise that the betting wasn't capped (6 bets I think) and he showed Kx for 2 pr.

Another player almost allowed the dealer to award her straight flush to an Ace high flush player, till I spoke up. The Ace High flush player was none too pleased, but I had wanted to keep the other player in the game anyways (and I made a friend).

Anyways after about 3 hrs, I had doubled up (Merry Christmas to me) and it was time to get out. Although this was only one session, I find that I can generally win about 5BB/hr there.
