Customer/Tech Support Software

Does any one here work in Customer/Tech Support?

I am looking for a software package the lets customers reply in a web based form and the tech support people can reply to them using the software so all issues and tracking will be done in the software instead of individual e-mail responses.

Does any one have any suggestions?

What type of Tech Support...Software? hardware? mix??

For software support I use a Open Source product called GForge allowing my clients to log support issues with me.

Something that a customer can go onto a website report a problem and it goes to a database. Mostly problems with things like DVD players and such.
  • bugzilla? Or is that too 'software development' oriented?

Too software development oriented. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • I think that you may be able to find an open source CRM package that will meet your needs:
