    Jeeesh Brent, shouldn't you work on taking your own game to the next level first? lol..... :) {sw}

    Just joking bud.....

    Come on Jeff, you know you aren't joking ;)
  • Quick question for those reading this thread, would a coach or buddy help an average/ below average player who is consistently not killing the 1/2 online game nor the local KW games, LOL. My early exit from the Merry Christmas Madness tournament is still stinging.

  • nah. coaches blow.
  • Just a note...

    PLEASE don't use MXM as a gauge for your poker ability.....

    That's like saying you're an awful cook because you can't farm

  • Why not have a poker coach I do believe there was about ten of you using Lou as your "POKER COACH" or is bouncing things off him is what you all were doing either way I think the whole idea was you were using LOU as a coach.

    does anyone have any numbers for a good escort/stripper/chopshop?

    416-555-8854 ask for Lolita, tell her Hunglow sent you.
  • I have this odd feeling that I should be the one who teaches you, but, yet, I am unsure why.....
  • I would love to have somebody like Lou be my poker coach/mentor/buddy. The first time I played at WSPC, I could already tell that he was one of the best players there. When I saw him at Poker Night Live, I would get a kick whenever he argued with Johnnie, Devo and Audrey. His advanced strategies went over the head of most of the TV audience, but as I learned more about poker, it made more and more sense.

    Unfortunately for me, the closest thing I currently have to a poker mentor/buddy does not even understand that folding pocket aces pre-flop just because multiple players have gone all-in is a huge blunder. :'( I have tried discussing each other's hands with friends, but their analysis is nowhere as deep as what pkrfce9, ScoobyD, moose and other sharks on this forum post about.

    That's not a blunder, it's a tragedy.
