We trust everyone had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year! It is time for some poker! We have some new and exciting things planned for the new year and want you to be apart of them. One of them is the starting stack. we have set the standard when it comes to giving the players fair play for their money. All West Side Poker Club games players will start with 10 000 in chips. Our cash game table can seat up to 11 players and one dealer.

Our 65.00 10,000 Chip Freeze Out



Here's how it is going to work. There is no re-buys and no add-ons.


• Each pre-registered player will pay 65.00.
• Walk-ins will pay 75.00
• Each player will receive 10 000 chips
• Blinds will go up every 25minutes The goal is to end the tournament between 9:30 and 10:30 pm, although we will have the hall till midnight.
• We will be looking to payout the top 10% players.

The date will be Saturday January 20th, 2007. The doors open up at 11:00 am. Shuffle up and deal will be at 12:00 pm. We have room for 88 people. This tournament will be held in a hall between Kitchener and Guelph. We reserve the right to change the blinds after the dinner break to 20 minutes.

As always there will be a 2/4 NL ring game available with a min buy in of 60.00 and a max buy in of 300.00. The cash game will start at 10:00am and run right up until the start of the tournament. Players can even pre-register for that here on the forum. Players who are interested in the cash game before the tournament and pre-register, your spot will be held until 9:50 am

It is self dealt.
But the final table has a dealer.
It is a great tourny. I don't think much comes out, obviously some to pay for the hall and card upkeep.

Usually when a person pictures a self dealt tourny they are skeptical. But this tourny is great, I've been to like 5 and always had a pleasent experience.

PLUS, it is full of DEAD MONEY DONKS!

Good question! With 10,000 chips and 25 min. blinds it is a managable number to have the tournament finish around 10:00pm. Even though we have the hall until 2:00am, player like to be done by midnight at the latest. If there was an overwhelming number of players to come we would open the doors.

PS West Side always post the numbers of the tournament and the fee for expense etc is approx 15% or less

We are virtually sold out 2 more spots are guarantee for players still wishing to play. Some have asked why bump it to 88? I know that from past experience we will end up with somewhere around 72, just experience. We appreciate those whose sign up and show up on time, you will be part of some new things we are doing this year. Remember the doors open at 10:00 am. A week is a long wait but soon we will have the first winner in the year 2007, could it be you?
