hi all this is my first post so hope you aprove ive just finished writing an article for high stakes poker season 3 it PREMIERES JAN 15, MONDAYS 9PM/8c
WATCH GSN ON CABLE, DIRECTV CHANNEL 309 AND DISH NETWORK CHANNEL 116
all the usall pro's are back and some new ones like chris ferguson and jamie gold,phil ivey and lots more also kaplin takes to tables for a couple of episodes so that should be good for a laugh ,anyway hope this is usefull.

Can't wait for season three....I love this show. Although I'm not all that looking forward to having to see more of Jamie Gold. That guy gives me the creeps.

True to that. Gold is creepy and completely insane. He thinks he's the greatest ever and is a tool. He makes Moneymaker look good.

well as for Jamie gold i don't think he will last long anyway i don't rate him.

I think the total opposite of you guys...Although I havent seen any of him other than the WSOP, I think that hes a good player for sure. And as far as making Moneymaker look good? Are you f***ing crazy!!? Moneymaker is a bum and nobody can make him look good, not even pokerstars! I think that Jamie Gold isn't getting the respect he deserves for winning the WSOP. He dominated the largest ever field in WSOP history. Yeah he got lucky on a lot of hands, but thats poker. You mean to tell me that you, or anyone for that matter could beat out 8000+ players in a tournament without getting lucky? Come on!! His table talk is amazing in the way he could get people to call with the worst hand and fold the best hand. I am looking forward to seeing Gold play in High Stakes Poker to see how he does against the best of the best. Until then I dont think anyone can bash Jamie Gold just because they never heard of him and he won the WSOP main event. Sorry to those cheering for Cunningham, but with the popularity of poker these days I think it will be a while before we see another well known pro take down the main event!

I wasn't commenting on Jamie Gold's play at all. I can't really comment on that because I only saw him play the WSOP ME, and we all know that one game does not a poker player make.

I was, however, commenting on his overall creepiness. He sets all my "psycho" sensors on high alert.

well in respect to jamie gold i don't think anyone is saying winning the wsop isn't a great achievement after all its every players dream and yes he deserves respect but what everyone is thinking and is probably right that gold is a one hit wonder.

Gold won the WSOP. Good for him. I don't think you'll see him duplicate the success like Raymer or Hachem (the recent winners). He got really lucky and now thinks his luck was skill. He won't be around long.
