Does anyone know if Casino Rama ever has any I can't find any relevent info on there site?
Or even better yet, any tourny's closer to Brampton?

    I'm not sure about Rama, but I have heard of Port Perry offering tournaments.

    Brantford would be the closest card room to you, but I have never heard of them having or planning to have tournaments.

    Personally, I like PokerStars for tournaments. :)

    Brantford is about an hour southwest of Toronto.

    The Brantford Charity Casino has 8 poker tables.

    Thanks I will have to check it out. Do know what the limits would be on a friday night, would there be any low stakes tables?

    I hear Brantford has a 2-5 table now...not sure if they run it on busy Friday nights though.

    Great Blue Heron has had a couple tournaments recently, and is now running mini-tournaments fairly often. It's only Texas Holde 'Em there, though I did see an Omaha table once (about 5 years ago!). They're in Port Perry, about 35-45 minutes away from Toronto.

    I work there so I can give more info if anyone needs it.

    Keep me posted please. I have never been to Port Perry or not many other poker places either since I am reletively new to it. I am very interested in tournament play since I feel you get the most game for your $$.

    I was at Rama yesterday and one of the floor supervisors was talking to a dealer about hosting upcoming tournaments.

    Don't have any details, but that's what I heard.
