  • Nice read.
Great river thanks to the passive play on the turn.
  • You know Joe...a respectable man would have split that pot with the the poor soul who slow played his nut flush...

But then again, we would have thought MUCH less of you if you had ;)

    Nice hand, good read

LOL, he quickly reloaded and told me he was going to get it back. Never happened as I finished my beer and then went to bed. I like .05/.1 when your drinking......
  • lol what are you doing at the nickel and dime table?
  • lol what are you doing at the nickel and dime table?

if you read his post clearly you would know why he was playing the nickel dime tables

    Nice hand Joe
  • Around the time i first started playing poker, I made the same mistake that guy did only i flopped it. I decided to slow play A-Kh, and the flop came 2-5-9 all hearts. There were two other people in the hand and i acted first so i checked, next guy raises, third guy folds, i call. The turn came down an ace so i check again, and of course he raises again. Instead of reraising here i decide simply to call praying that the board won't pair. But of course the river was a five to leave a final board of 2-5-9-A-5..I bet out on the river and get reraised all-in. I call and he shows A-5 for the full-house! Man what a bad time to slow play the nut flush! Ive definitely learned a lot from that though and how to play,as well as how not to play the nut flush.
