New Helmut Movie?
Oh this is just TOO much!!! Please say it ain't so.....
Hayden Christensen, otherwise known as the young Jedi who filled Darth Vader’s shoes in the “Star Wars” prequels, is about to become “The Madison Kid.” Production Weekly reports the 25-year-old actor has been dealt a new hand for his next role, playing Phil Helmut in an upcoming biopic about the youngest card player to ever win the World Champion Poker title. Helmut won the title after defeating two-time title winner Johnny Chan during Poker’s World Series event. Despite objection from his University professor father, Helmut decided to pick up the sport after dropping out of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he attended for three years. Production is slated to get underway in Winnipeg, Manitoba next April.

Hayden came off as a whiny brat in every movie I've seen him in....

I'm heard of ten time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, hopefully this Hulmut is not as big as an ass as Hellmuth.
Oh please.
Lol.
No one trusts anyone here. I got to say I am with the "Oh Please". Since film scripts are just passed around to all people in the "biz" who have nothing to do with producing a script that is still in the cast phase.
Yes "Helmut" is in fact "Phil Helmuth
Simply cut & paste job from the Rogers Entertainment site...not MY error!
I like helmut, cuz it saves my head. Now Tony G. And P. Helmuth I hate. I hope they aren't coming to the west side cuz we have no dealers ya know.
Wasn't trying to sound like a big-shot. Just saying I read it (was hired to do a budget for it) and it sucked.
Some how I associated "helmut" with "Dark Helmet". I'm such a loser...
lol...exactly what I thought! Now Space Ball 2 would be great!
I agree the a movie based on Phil Helmuth would suck, since he's still rather young, with alot of poker in front of him.
Now maybe a freature on Doyle Brunson and his buddy's playing NL Hold'em in back rooms and alleys in the 50s, that would be cool.
