New $20 Bank Note

The new $20 bank note will be unveiled on Aug. 25, and is scheduled to go into circulation on Sept 29.

  • A funny typo I noticed on Globeinvestor.com:

    "Tactile features: Raised dots in the top right corner, a non-security feature, allows the fision impaired to distinguish denominations."

    I'm glad to see that the new bank notes will be easy to use even for those who are unfortunate enough to not have access to a nuclear reactor.

  • I think our money has way more class than the allmighty greenback. Those damn things all look the same in the dark anyway. lol It's probably why we officially print (mint) money for "many" different countries too. Cuz we're good at it. So celebrate our uniqueness. It's not a bad thing. :canada:

  • The new $20 notes were officially released today, although it generally takes a few days (or weeks) for new notes to be delivered to banks, etc. and widely enter into circulation.
