  • Yeah, that was a bad call. The proper play here is to sit out, and hope you can fall ass-backwards into the money before you get blinded out.

Note: trying to get the banner asking me to post more removed. Let's see if this counts.
  • I have 0 luck on stars so I don't play. But at $5 SNG's you'll get donks calling with anything which is good and bad. It leads to more suck outs etc. When you get QQ vs J9s VS 88 VS AKo all in before the flop earlier Dumb shit happens. I often wonder how you get involved in these hands but your usually ahead and it happens.

    N1 Tie Twist...this is funny!

I feel your pain tho tekguy...if you're gonna get rivered it's most likely gonna be on Stars!

Honestly tho, I don't see this as a bad beat, given hamlin's stack I don't think you can blame him for pushing.....and I'm certainly calling with KK!
  • Last time I checked KK wasn't 100% to win against 66.

    /g2
  • Are you sure?

I thought KK was infalible. Well except against AA. Cuz AA never loses ever.

Serious note. It's a bad beat. What more do you want?

Or a pair of 10's right greg ;)

Don't get me wrong guys, I'm just venting, I'm totally used to it on Stars as it seems to happen to me all the time. In the last month or so in the dozen SNG's I've played on stars I can count the number of money finishes on one hand. I also play sometimes at paradise poker...out of the last 8 SNG's I've played there I've finished in the money 7 times, how does that happen? Maybe I should take this as a sign and just move sites and play somewhere other than Stars all the time. As I said before, I'm just venting/bitching, but as usual though I'll just suck it up and take comfort in knowing I put my chips in with the better hand pre-Flop
