Another UW (former) student wins big. Now SirWatts is next!
  • what I like to know is how a 22 year old comes up with the cash for all these $10k buy ins. Although it was a nice return on equity.
  • Nenad had a couple of big online wins before winning his way onto a WPT event 2 yrs ago. The 112K US he won from making the final table there, and the 285K US for coming 3rd in the Aussie Millions is a good way to build a bankroll. That's independent of his ring games.
  • Yeah congrats to Nenad. Amazingly him and Steve P-A played in the same 1/2 NL home game when he was at UW, that's kind of a scary univeristy home game with (at least) 2 future WPT champions. This quote made me lol before I realized he wasn't putting down his opponent for bluffing off all his chips to him twice.

“I gotta give it up to E.G., he did all the work for me” – 2006 World Poker Finals champion Nenad Medic on his heads up opponent E.G. Harvin, who eliminated the final table’s first four players.
  • Thats sweet! hopefully theres more winners from the ontario area
