  • Preflop is ok.

The flop is just HORRIBLE. You have to raise that baby with the flush draw.

Turn is standard, you are probably against some ace or jack minimum so lets keep drawing.

River is brutal. What hands is two pair behind after 3 callers on the river? Not many. Most players will raise two pair.

    Smarten up.
  • Are you playing .25/.50 limit????

Any reason you just called this down all the way? I raise that flop for value, call the turn and raise the river with two pair for sure?

I played this hand a year and a half ago far before I did much reading and thinking.

I find it funny because in the OP I'm happy to win the pot. Nowadays I'd be pissed that I missed so many bets.
  • Man, BBC has gotten so bored critiqueing others he's started on himself.  Guess the forum needs more hands posted.

I probably 3 bet the flop with that many in for value, but calling is OK if you're worried about blowing out the first 2 with having to cold call 2 bets more (if you assume they'll call then disregard).

    Turn seems std.

River:  I don't know if I raise that board with 5 people in and a weak two pair. Aces up could easily be hiding on that board, or even JT or J9.  A definate call for sure at the least.  I guess assuming that all the callers don't have you beat, you really only have to fear a 3 bet from the original bettor (which I'd more than likely have to pay off in a pot that big).
  • Actually I look at the hand and wonder what the hell Antdak was doing. You could rename this post: the reason why you raise and reraise your AK.
  • reminds me of the stupidest hand i ever played in.  5$ internet NL tourney on planet poker like 4 years ago that i actually won.  All in preflop I had TT vs 4 opponents with AK.  seriously wierd.  Ok this doesnt relate at all to your hand just made me realize how messed up card variance can be.
In other news, I gotta say ever since your vegas reports I have been reading your posts as 'posts to read' and they are golden.

    boy eeeeeee
