PLO help

Still new to Omaha and just want to get some input on these hands.
(This is probably the first time I've played shorthanded at all)
No reads since I'm a donk and don't really pay attention normally, so
you can imagine what 1 AM when I just want the tourney to end so I can sleep is like.

Comments

  • I'm basically a PLO donk too but anyways:

    1. Pot
    2. Pot
    3. I dunno 2/3-3/4 pot or something sounds good.
  • IMO

    First hand:

You have a pretty good draw there, wrap straight, with no flush draws. Worst case scenario he has a set (not likely), and you're hoping the board doesn't pair. Any 2 (4), 3 (3), 5 (2), 7 (3), or 8 (4) for a total of 16 outs. You're favored to win here. I don't hate calling or re-potting. Folding is a bad idea.

    Hand 2:

I probably call here. A pair, a suited ace, and connectors with position is powerful. If I were to raise, it would be because I have some knowledge of my opponents (i.e. reads Brad!!)

    Hand 3:

Well, I would probably throw a bet out, standard continuation bet - maybe 3/4 the pot given Omaha's draw-ability. But I don't hate checking also, to see what he does...
