god only knows a fool like me might inadvertently post in a thread like that. i'd suggest you put a note in the OP saying 'please don't clutter this thread with your useless comments'.

    Looking to be able to control it myself, and I make semi-regular updates to it. I'd hate to have to go to an admin person to get this done. Is it possible to re-add back in the logic that allowed users to lock/unlock their own threads?
