Did anyone else play last night's $3R on Stars?
The most amazing thing happened.
I was checking out the chip leaders table, some guy named Platini64 was seriously crushing the entire field. At his table were BelowAbove and Johnster, combined winnings of over $800K! Platinis total? $183.00. They were all in virtually every hand with any 2 cards and Platini was winning every race.
At the 40 minute mark (with 20 minutes left in the rebuy) Platini had an incredible 203,000 chips!! He could have just stopped there and coasted to the final table. Obviously he didn't cuz I wouldn't be writing this.
He proceeded to go on the most horrific run I have ever seen. To sum it all up, he went broke on the last hand of the rebuy and left the tourny.
Everyone was in total disbelief of what had just happened. There were so many railbirds because of Platini's massive chip lead. Below ended up with 176,000 chips at the break and literally sat out for the next 2 hours while he concentrated on the $100R that he was also playing.
Platini64 should get some sort of award for biggest bust out I have ever seen.

I guess we now know why his total MTT winnings are $183 greater than mine.
