Hello! Any mixed game tourneys out there?

Hello being new to the forum, I'd like to introduce myself as well. My name is Rick...there we go :D. I'd like to ask if there are any Ontario B&M tournaments that feature games, such as HORSE, or even Stud Hi or Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tournaments? I've tried checking around the internet but I can only seem to find NLHE tournaments; which are usually rebuy events. I do plan on going to the November 16th (I believe) rebuy NL tourney  in Brantford, but I want to get some variety.

    Can't say I've ever seen Omaha or Stud or any mixed game of any sort in n Ontario B&M, especially a tournament, just not enough demand. Seneca Casino in NF, NY does spread Stud and some Omaha at times but I can't recall a tournament other than NLHE there in a long time. Best opportunity would be a private game such as occasionally held in K/W by local hosts...

    Darn, Oh well I'll have to stick to cash...I heard that the Great Blue Heron does contain mixed cash games like Omaha and Stud, can anyone confirm this?


    Edit: Bah, I apologize all I had to do was check the official website and found they had both with 5-10 and up spreads.

    Well I have never been there (GBH) but I do know that other Casinos also say the spread other than holdem but in reality they never do as there is not enough demand. When they say they spread em, all it means is they will if demand warrants.

    Ah thank you, I didn't really understand the term (spread) when they referred to hold em as I only know/understand it in terms of sports betting.

    GBH 'offers' it, but I have never seen it spread. When I asked, they said 'rarely to never'. Like compuease said, it's all based on demand, and there is none for a regular table.
