He has messaged me every few months for years and encouraged me to come back. There are a couple other posters who sent me links to fun threads, but it was Fed hitting me up--this time during a two-week lull/semi-vacation-- that really did the trick.

I guess the question is, is my low content stuff>greater than Fed's annoyances for you guys? I only play a few NLHE casino tournaments a year; my state doesn't allow NL cash, and the best underground game in my area doesn't allow women. PLO only became more than a drunken crazy pineapple alternate recently. I was too much better at NLHE to see the point of really thinking about it much. So, it'll be some time between poker posts and Fed keeps OT moving at faster pace, which keeps me here.

I'm not saying he should do w/e he wants, but I am saying that OT is a lot more fun for people like me with him actively moving threads, and stirring the pot.

Kristy, there is absolutely no comparison between your particular type of posting on here and Fed's. Like GTA said earlier, you post he trolls. I completely agree with what Comp said as well. Fed blunders around here stirring up shit, but half the time it's not the fun type of shit disturbing. On top of that he's doing it amongst people who have no interest in having anything to do with him.

The problem is that he does just do whatever he wants. Comp and I have long winded conversations with him about not doing something particularly stupid and he immediately jumps right into doing that exact thing.

You've got to be kidding about the underground game not allowing women. That's really pretty sad.

Sad for me, I REALLY want their money!
I've played most of their regulars in other locations that only offer lower stakes games...at least GW can get in and relieve them of some of their burden of excess cash.

I really am not too butthurt about it. It is a completely different culture out here. Idk if you've ever heard the expression, "Minnesota, where the men are men...and the women are too"? It is actually reasonably apt... If they let me in they'd have a bunch of really obnoxious ~try too be hard to be tough~ ~know it all~ camouflage wearing women massively slowing down the game, and ruining their conversation. Sexist to paint us all with the same brush: yes. Understandable: also, yes.

To paint you a better picture--I'm considered to be a bit of an elitist, city snob by not avidly hunting and fishing, by preferring good beer and well-prepared food, and because it's rare to find me without a book on my person. My MN family heckles me regularly, and I've lost count of the number of times someone has said, "oh you're reading?!?! I haven't read a book since high school!" With almost a certain amount of pride.

Me. The person who just had a shoot-out, and have already posted twice today about hookers. Super classy, edjumacated, dame-- amIrite? :D

Kristy, you are what guys used to call "a good broad", in a complimentary way. someone who can out-shit-talk the guys, but who still remembers that she ain't one of the guys. In short, a rarity these days.

Truth . . . I can see the post from GTA as he enters palliative care . . .

I am thinking of making a move. Here are my options:

Heaven: Lots of free time to just enjoy the view, chill out with some amazing people from all walks of life, and all historical time periods. Have always wanted to have dinner with Einstein, beers with Gandhi, you know what I mean.

Hell: Warm, but pretty humid, which means I am likely to be afflicted by insects of all kinds, particularly Locusts. I hear the Landlord is a big fan. All that being said, I have looked into the night life, and it is AWESOME. I would never lack for "entertainment". Bonus feature: not having to put up with smug self righteous do-gooders that inhabit the other place.

Dirt: Not the best option, but perhaps the default choice. Dark, dank, with nothing in the way of diversions. I am not really considering this move, but it is an option and I want to be as open as possible.

I've talked to one guy who says he's been to one of my choices, and it sounded great, but I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge?
