Figured out who this guy is, and he made FT also I believe. He def came and sat on my left at the table that was the FT eventually, just can't recall where he finished. Maybe 7th-8th?? Seemed like a solid player.

Personally anywhere that doesn't spread NL consistently but puts in NL tournaments is an open land mine and if you can navigate them you are for sure +ev.

Many of the "good pros" don't find value in them, not because they can't be beat but your win rate is higher online most times and the convenience factor of not leaving your house trumps a drive and 10 hour live grind

I dunno, I am prob gunna sound pretty results oriented here but I kinda beg to differ. I think your ROI is going to be much higher live than it is online in the long term. Maybe I am wrong though.

But yeah the convenience factor and live 16 hr grind are def big factors. Live play gets painful after a few hrs.

I know who "Hello Kitty" is but the "Dragon Lady" was a different lady who showed up one day during the WPT Satellite Wars, and burnt up all the satellite kings that day :-[ in winning every single Step.

Speaking of Toronto Pimp's obsession, "The Next Xuan Lius" of the GTA followed my advice to take a shot at the other poker hotbed of Canada, Calgary, for the CPT Summer Showdown. One of them won the National Ladies Championship and will be featured in a magazine. :cool:

With whom was she colluding with? I heard the part about her being banned from somewhere, but she has 3-outered me in Brantford & I see her at Rama. I saw her during WPT Fallsview, but I thought it was weird that I saw her join in the satellites only ONCE and didn't notice her in the cash games; when I was waiting to be seated in the poker room, I saw her more in the craps table. She was one of the players with me (along with Xuan Liu & a WSOP-C champion) when the terrible Fallsview TD/CSM acted very inappropriately towards me. I'm now wondering if he assumed guilt by association. :-\
