Tentative Next CPF Vegas Trip Sep 14-20

Planning on using up my MyVegas facebook chips to book free nights at Aria and Monte Carlo.

Bookings open on May 3.

Aria costs 165000 chips weekday
Monte Carlo is 52500 weekday and 135000 weekend.
For those who would like to experience Circus Circus, weekday rooms are 20000 :)

Each individual can book up to 3 nights in a 30 day period.

So get spinning!

How long do I have to play MyVegas to get 20,000 points (so my kid can play with other kids at kid-friendly CC)? Should I spend that time making money at PartyPoker/PokerStars/Rama instead? Does MyVegas allow kids to play?

I believe you have to be 21 to cash in any points at the rewards desk. You can easily do about 5000 gold chips per week. I spend <5 min per day. Just enough to check in and collect my chips. I don't spin unless there is some kind of reward bonus on.

Aria was at 99000 for the weekend. Wait until they have the "bonus" before you book your rooms.

personally id only ever stay at the venetian/palazzo or like bellagio/wynn/aria i want to be where the action is and the best poker rooms without travel time and have a nice big clean room to sleep in, without 5 STDs per square foot. :P

pretty psyched for may ill prolly leave end of may and stay 4-5 weeks til beginning of july and grind. the rates are really good at the V like $109 or something a night

For non-Costco members, what's the next best car rental site for Las Vegas - Hotwire or Orbitz? The lowest cost through Westjet is $279 (9 days) for a Medium SUV 5 Door (Toyota Rav4 or similar), Automatic, AC from Enterprise.

I think he wanted to do some things outside of the strip which would require a car. If you are just staying within the strip then cab/walk is your best bet.

Once you start renting it's hard to go back to walking. A cab to/from the airport with tip is going to cost you at least $20 each way. Time is money. I'd rather be gambling than walking.
