If anyone is interested in traveling to this together to this on via rail or driving please pm me if you are going to WPT fallsview we can talk then, I usually make poker trips alone but if we are heading same place it be nice to have some company. I usally take a train then a cab from train station to hotel, if your patient you can score round trips for 60$ on via it's not worth driving for that price.

The flat-rate taxis promoted by Playground was $35. Is it actually almost twice as expensive as going with a different taxi?

PM'ed. I think the car pooling a forumer and I did was less expensive and much more convenient than taking VIA and paying for taxi rides to/from Playground, train station, hotel, strip clubs, ;) etc.

Please have a Survivor event like the last WPT Montreal.

With the Chipgate and backlash against re-entry format by Matt Savage, Mike Matusow, Chris Moorman, etc., here is a WISH list for the future (may not happen by Spring):

- It may take awhile for the bad re-entry format to be replaced, but at least do not allow a re-entry unless you bust, i.e., do not allow being able to choose your biggest stack to carry forward with multiple Day 1s. Accumulator is a better format than next-day re-entry.
- Just like WPT Fallsview, WSOP, etc., no more re-entry format for big events, especially main events where there is a WPT/WSOP ring involved.
- No unlimited re-entry format for super satellites. Again, WPT Fallsview and WSOP's freezeout format for super satellites are better, or at least rebuy/add-on format.

There will be two events this time that will be next-day re-entry as usual for us. If you re-read Matt Savage's column on this, he was strongly against same-day re-entry for big events but less negative about next-day re-entry.

The scenario that Matusow posits isn't really to be taken seriously. It's simply not nearly as simple as he thinks it is to do what he suggests.

The full schedule is ready and approved but as you can imagine it takes a lot of effort to get everything organized in both French and English. We'll be publishing everything including complete rules/structures next week.

Is the problem with same day entries is that you can pocket chips and potentially add it to your next starting stack in case you bust out?

Besides DrCarl and me, does anybody else want to carpool this weekend for the Mega Overlay satellite with 25 seats added? Ideally, we will have at least two cars so that those who don't survive Day 1C this Saturday March 1st at noon can return home the same day, while the rest can split hotel rooms to resume play on Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

My older-than-compuease horse-and-buggy ;) may be on its last legs after driving back and forth to a terribly-run casino since December, but if mikelbyl's shuttle is not available to pick up all of us in the GTA :D to the #1 tournament poker room, I may be forced to drive.

It should be 1 in 10 or 11 or 12 ($100+$10) as it's an $1100 entry, depending how they break prize-pool down. Not sure if it's one for every $1100 or $1000 and imagine 3% is going to staff? 1 in 30 maybe your thinking the old 3k format?
