I wish all the luck on the new place. Just control the smoking and you get will lots of new members. I know of at least 5 people that like Aces but don't go regularly cause of the smoke. Tell payers to smoke outside.

For god's sake, I'm a smoker and it's disgusting to smoke inside any environment. I wouldn't smoke in a barn or any other building.

While I'd still play poker if they allowed smoking in an enviro, I'd bitch about it every minute I was there.

Can "THE POKER PLACE" confirm that his new place will be smoke-free in the playing room? That is one of the reasons why I've hesitated going to TAPC.

Yes, THE POKER PLACE is smoke free. We will have a smoking area right outside the back entrance. I am also a smoker and did not agree with the smoking at Aces. This is one of the main reasons I split off from Aces and introduced THE POKER PLACE. My main goal is to create a friendly, comfortable and clean atmosphere for all players. I encourage everyone to come and check it out.

Its seem someone has triggered meetup to take down my site today. Have a good idea who did this and think this is very childish behavior.

The GRAND OPENING is still on and we hope to see everyone out.

Why would they take down the meetup group?? There are so many related to poker groups.

Well, I give up on meetup. I've decided the best way is to build my own website. Have a look and if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Nice site. Very professional.

Looks like an interesting set-up, but the location is awful for me. To get there by 7:30 on a Friday I'd have to leave my house by 5, which is worse than going to Brantford or even Fallsview.

Good luck with it though.
