Good grief, I lived in Victoria for nearly as long as Bill was out there. It's not THAT bad! Seriously, it's cloudy and it drizzles. It rarely rains very hard at all. You'll get used to it, you'll buy clothes that keep you dry rather than worrying about clothes that keep you warm, then you'll find nice, friendly girls to warm you up. EZ game :)

Huh, that's really weird and I really find that hard to believe. Not saying you're wrong, it's just really hard to believe. I swear in the winter the year I left it rained for like 41 days straight or something. You just get used to changing your clothes like three times a day or something.

It probably did rain for 41 straight days. It's just that it's always such a light rain that it doesn't add up to the same amount when you compare it to the the once every 1-2 weeks torrential downpour for 4 hours that T.O. gets.

I don't mind rain so much.. yeah it could be a drag looking outside and it being all grey and shit.. but i love it at night when it is dark out..creates a real nice atmosphere.

Beats snow any day. I don't know how the rest of Canada puts up with that stuff and all the shoveling...

Honestly... I was in newfieland in 05 for two weeks during Spring Break... it must have snowed like.. half the time there.

Don't even get me started on my month in Edmonton a couple years back.

People who ask you to come take a look at their kitchen they are renovating and want painted, waste 1/2hr of your time and another 1/2hr driving there and back home. They are going to put $25k into the kitchen with new floors/appliances/cabinets....

They call you back that night and say they are going to save the $200 and paint it themselves.

I hate Ellis Island - I agreed to line up for food only because some folks whose opinion I used to respect on this forum highly recommend the BBQ...we go, we line up to spend our money (something I am loathe to do in the first place...) then, the grizzeled, haggard hostesses began seating people who came in after Sonny & I. Did I mention I hate lining up to spend my money? So to do it and then get fucked over tore it for me. I marched up to the podium and told them off and left. I will never, ever, go to Ellis Island. Dump with a capital "D".

And, I LOLed: While we waited, they were announcing that there was still time to get in for today's big draw of $25.00...yes TWENTY-FIVE dollars.

already put this one in here before, but it pisses me off so much that it needs a second mention:

students who are always late!!! this goes for anyone who is chronically late though.

today my students knew we were having an in class assignment (i like to call them that instead of tests so some students don't freak out and stress). almost 50% of my class was either late or did not show up altogether! fucking just screws them over and makes my work more difficult now.

friggin' no one has any sense of responsibility these days. :mad:

After inspecting them and saying they look good, he starts giving me his sob story about being a poor student. Of course he drives up in a G35... He says that he only has $600 to spend. I tell him that it's rediculous and that the offer is borderline insulting. He defends by saying "no no, I'm not trying to insult you, I only have $600 but my dad is willing to pitch in. So I ask, "so what's your offer then?". "$700". I tell them to get off my property.

Being a long time Cowboy fan, and only being to the playoffs a couple of times since the last Super Bowl in the mid 90's, I have hate in my heart and I am not afraid to let it out.

First Jerry Jones. You may have been at the helm when we won three titles in the 90's but you don't know JACK about football. Jason Garrett can't coach, (your decision) and the personnel on the field sucks and you are the GM, therefore you SUCK TOO.
