yes, yes, there seems to be a permissions issue with members uploading their own avatars. This WILL be corrected. In the meantime, if you really want it now and don't want to wait, you can email it to me at admin@pokerfourm.ca and I'll manually upload it for you...BUT it will appear in the avatar listing for all to choose from.

for me this is what i did...not sure how/why but it worked ???

I have my own pic:add your avatar URL here
Specify your own avatar by URL. (ex: http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif)

and then

hit change profile at the bottom

The web-link one seems to work if you have your own web-space or can find the image on the web (and hope it doesn't go away or change URLs).
It is just the upload step that is giving people trouble.

So for now, I have chosen Terry Tate (in bobble head format) until I decide to make my own and post it somewhere.

just DL it onto your computer
then upload to imageshack or photobucket :)
