I would not. I love my wife, and our physical relationship is such that I do not feel the need to explore such alternatives. As for how she feels, you can aske her the next time you see her, but she does occasionally mutter stuff about gold lame shorts, and someone named Sven, while sleeping.

1) No, I did not. Karma seems to have caught up with me for that, though.

2) About tree-fiddy. Thanks for the lob. But I chalk it up more to my love of conversation, and my inability to fit all you lovable idiots in my living room at one time. This Forum is an adequate substitute.

3) I have always thought that Mark's pantless voices would be much squeakier, given the tightness of his britches. No homo . . .

4) I do not recall ever stating that I have ever had guns in my home. I have no desire to own a firearm at this point in my life. As for close calls, I was somewhat closer than I should have been while a section-mate fired off a round with a Carl Gustav 84mm anti-tank rocket, resulting in a minor flesh burn. But you should have seen that Sherman blow . . . worth every ounce of the pain.

Important in what sense? From a Nationalistic standpoint, one could say "yes", as we all fund these athletes with our tax dollars, so we should be interested in getting value for our money, if nothing else. Me? I like sport, and I think the athletes performances are some of the most engaging you will see. Much more so than professional sports.

I like you well enough, Costanza. I am not overly fond of your other iterations, here and elsewhere, but you seem to have reformed your ways, so credit where it is due.

My facial hair comes and goes, but I am lazy about shaving, so it rarely looks all that good, unless I am going out somewhere, and then I will neaten things up. Currently sporting a goatee, but have about three days growth surrounding it. Not having to worry about my appearance for work is a blessing.

I take a certain satisfaction from my victory. I have always maintained that I am well aware of exactly how bad a player I am (not quite as bad as you think is usually my goal), but that I enjoy the game for it's own sake. I like to play. Would I like to be better? Sure . . . Do I think I will improve much beyond where I am now? Maybe a little . . . Will I always be able to point to my tagline? Damn straight, Skippy . . . LOL

My favourite place to take my wife for dinner would have to be Topiary's on Derry Road in Malton. We have been there twice, and both times it was perfect. The food is great, but the service . . . impeccable. Best of all, in a full dining room you never here the conversations next to you intruding on yours. Somehow (acoustic tiling?), everything beyond your table is simply a dull murmur. A truly wonderful experience. Thanks, you make me want to go again.

My favourite booze is Vodka, and I like to think I am somewhat of a connoisseur. MY favourite lable is Vincent van Gogh Triple wheat Vodla (Dutch) followed very closely by Still Waters Single Malt Vodka (Canadian). Both are fantastic, light years beyond Grey Goose.

I think that I am not educated enough to have a clue what is going to happen. that said, I think the biggest hindrance to any recovery might actually be the constant failure of the US government to actually do something with regard to long term fiscal responsibility. Their entire process seems to have devolved into "us" v. "them" on every level. I truly think that Ron Paul, or someone of his ilk, is DESPERATELY needed to bring back some sort of focus on the Constitution of the United States, and operating the government within those parameters. a burgeoning US economy would go along way to righting whatever wrong the Euro-zone may inflict on the world.

I am going to say the removal of the Berlin Wall. The collapse of the Wall, symbolizing as it did, the end of the Soviet Bloc, meant that the Western Democracies won the Cold War. It also meant that we moved a few steps back from the possibility of total annihilation. My daughter has no concept of the political tensions of that time, and I am glad of it. I remember the articles about the Pershing II missiles being installed in Germany, the response from Moscow, and the sabre rattling from Reagan. I also remember SALT, SALT 2, and the START talks. Moreso than the internet, and it's bastard love-child, social media, the collapse of the Wall was probably the most significant event of my lifetime . . . so far.

Sorry, but you did . . . that said, my "reads" are not so great, though Costanza cracked my Aces in the Forum game with 44 last night.

I think I am going to go with Italy. I like French wines better, but Italian art, Rome, the Vatican . . . given unlimited resources, I think I could get lost in Italy for quite some time.
