What I meant was why try to start up a rival league and "split" the field?

Didnt mean to split the field. I was under the impression the other leauge was just for the website league. Where mine is more cash games, and random donkaments too.

OK, I am now registered in the Private Tourney. Can't wait for the other to start as the stack size is bigger and blind schedule is much better.

Also we need compuease to be able to validate new members for these Home Games. It seems he is always on here just before these tournaments start. This is when most of the players will sign up,

I check the forum at least once a day even though don't post nightly. But I have inquired with Stars about the potential of adding the power to add players to admins of the club, or add an "assistant club manager" who is able to add players other than myself.

Took the afternoon off, so I had more time to go through this thing a little more closely.

A few interesting things I noticed were that each club can only have 50 members. I believe in 2 days we've accumulated 25 already. This could be problematic in the future...or not. There's not a huge number of players who play the forum games even if you add the regs and the sporadic players.

Despite my lofty position of admin (I was hoping to have a medal or special hat or something on there. None to be had.), there doesn't appear to be a way to see who's in our little club. I can see there's 25 of us, but have no idea who they are.

There appears to be no chat moderation!!! So does this mean we can swear at each other as much as we want!!!???? Fuckers?

As well, there appears to be no limitations on more than one player playing from the same IP. Not that we've worried about that much in the past, but it could have been an issue. Don't need to be concerned about that in Home Games as we're all a happy go lucky club who trust each other with out lives.

Anyhoo, seems very interesting.

Thanks Wes. I think that there will always be people scrambling 15 minutes before the tournaments to get signed up.

And I think compuease should be the SENIOR Manager.

In terms of scrambling Buzz, I don't think that's going to be as much of an issue as it's been in the past. When I registered for the original tourney last night that Shar set up.. I don't remember having to enter a pwd whatsoever.

Once you're a member of 'the club', there's no "Sam sent me" required.

So, if folks are scrambling, it's just due to their own time issues. Nothing else.

I meant that they would be scrambling if they hadn't already applied on Pokerstars Home Game and that Wes would still have to okay them. I would hate to see them miss one of the games because Wes was unavailable then.

Not possible to assign a second Club Manager who can accept invitations as of right now according to PS. This post has been up awhile and I see no reason why we'll get a scramble of signups before games. If one or two people misses out on a game since it's last minute and I'm not online at that point, they've had plenty of opportunity to join the club.
