I didn't get a chance to play in the 1-2 NL game but I was told by another player that there is no cap on the "5% donation" in that game....is that true?

yes it is, and I rather be up front than telling players that theres a cap than really not. and % goes to our local Charity

Did anyone attend the Sunday tournament? how was the turnout compared to Friday night? Was there a decent cash game on Sunday?

You should have followed that old guy to the other cash table; three seniors and no pre-flop raising = a nice evening

I did witness a huge 3-way all-in pot where one guy had an overpair+open ended, the other had a set and the other who eventually won had the nut straight which is the same old guy who went to the other table claiming he played with me at Rama.

the addition of a cash game during the tournament is great; hopefully this will continue in the future. We had 7/8 players for the duration of the early stages of the tournament until the second cash table opened up. Played for just over 5 hours and only ended up $40 but still a positive session so I can't complain. I had AA three times during the night which is pretty amazing (and I didn't go broke once over playing them). How's this for four back-to-back hands: AA, AK, AA, AQ. From these hands I made the most money with AK when the flop came 510K and my opponent raised $20 and I raised another $50, at which point he turned over the aces and folded thinking I had two pairs. Of course I went card dead after these great cards.
