  • Example one and two imho is just bad luck.

    You played the game right as far as I can tell. You made them pay for the draw both times. They just got lucky. I think 60% of the time you will win these hands, or more in the case of the guy who caught a straight.

    I have a tendancy to wait and see the turn before pushing in, but that is just me.
  • I hate getting really good cards at the beginning or near the beginning or a tournament cause some guys with a crap pair always bets a lot and then gets a lucky flop.

    It's gotten to the point where if I get AA in the 1st hand, I just push all-in preflop.. Sometimes you'll catch people who think you are just another insane bluffer.
