  • NIIIICE. One card away from a royal... good one!
  • Not to try and trump Sloth's hand, but here's an interesting one...

I never play NL cash games. I'm not sure why, but I just never have. Much to my disappointment the 15/30 and 30/60 games at Stars just broke, so after reading about Sloth's hands I decided to try some $5/$10 NL. I sat down with $800, and I think this was my third hand:

I know my flop call was terrible, but I figured I was drawing to the nuts, and on the off-chance that my opponent was betting a flush draw it could be a very profitable situation for me. I don't think I would have gone off like Marion did without the nuts... I think he/she played the hand poorly. After the hand, I left the table, and now I'm going to bed. :)

I don't think this will turn me into a NL cash game player, but it sure was fun!

  • Perhaps you should rethink your online name - maybe something along the lines of FISHFINDER !

    Very nice hand.
  • Well... I said the fish were gone from the PokerRoom 25/50 shorthanded game. Apparently, there are still plenty left elsewhere.... ;)

    Cheers,
