Fallsview Casino
Anyone else been to the new casino in Niagara? Very Vegasesque, top notch. No poker butttttttttt..... you can take this for what its worth.
Played some pai-gow for a couple of hours and was talking with one of the dealers at length about the if/when they would open a room . He said October, yeah!! If they are going to do it they are going to do it right is what he said. 40 tables, yes 40 tables with hold-em ,ohama and stud being spread. It would be in the old casino ( Niagara vs. Fallsview) and they have plenty of trained staff from other casinos, a quick refresher and they can be up and running very quickly.
Now the kicker, no pun intended. They, as in the casino have been approached by the WPT to host a televised event . Now that would be a " if we are going to do it , do it right" with style. It sounded like it was a real possibility after talking with this dealer at length.
It sounds kind over the top to me , 40 tables , WPT, etc., but then again with this casino and the other one as well , everything they have done has been very classy, extreme and first class. I hope he is right.
