  • Go Team Canuck! I've been super fortunate to be sent to LV for business and booked at the Rio the next couple of days. Managed to catch some of the action late last night, and hopefully will be able to follow today. The beaver card genie is awesome!
  • Wow, just logged in to see how the two were doing. It was all I couldthink about this morning! Keep it up, what an amazing accomplishment!

    Phil folds

    Yes!
  • OK... here's the problem. Updates will not be as frequent today. I will not be standing by to watch every hand until later in the day.

But, what I will do is get Devin to phone me or text message me as often as he wants to or can and then I will pass that along here. Again, I will need someone to email that will then post to the forum. (All of last nigt's updates came from my Treo and that will be the case again today).

So... first "update hound" to email me will become our officia reporter in Canada.

It is now 9:30 in LV. They are 2 1/2 hours away from getting started.

Am I the only one who thinks that Devin should be making an OTR appearance on the *other* side of the camera?? :D

And, when you do, Devin, make sure that picture of you and Hellmuth is on screen!!

I love the Annie Duke photo, and especially, the comment at the bottom ... http://www.canadianpoker.com/PLogs/WSOP_2005/WSOPJuneImages/snapshots6.htm

"Annie Duke, slightly small stacked, three seats to Devin's left."

  • Dude!!!

I know a ton of poker players who would pay a lot of money to have that photo with Hellmuth. Just unreal. Bring home the hardware D!!!
  • Okay D.

I am sending you goodvibez across the continent...  And you too Bob!  Sorry - didn't mean to leave you out...

  • Bob Jarrett Eliminated in 28th Place ($7,240)
Log: Bob Jarrett has been eliminated in 28th place.

The players are on a fifteen minute break. When the 24 remaining players return, the blinds will be at $2,000-$4,000. Other than a few short stacks, the players seem to be in a dead heat as they jockey for seats at today's final table.
  • Very exciting guys!

Holy crap what a pic with Helmuth, just awsome! Good luck Devin, and congrats Bob, well done!
  • Great work Devin.
    Congratulations!
